Transneft sees storm in Kozmino port finishing on Saturday

MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft expects a storm that has been blocking oil exports in the port of Kozmino since Monday to end on Saturday, Igor Dyomin, advisor to the president of Transneft, told reporters on Thursday.

“The storm in Kozmino continues. We expect the weather to improve in the evening of January 27, but forecasts predict a stormy weather again from January 29. The situation in other ports is usual,” he said.

Ice building is also complicating exports. Transneft plans to ban ship transportation without ice strengthening starting from Friday, and to allow ice-1ships to sail only when accompanied by icebreakers, he said.
